Hold on a sec, I'm not as fast as I used to be.
The Nature Research Center, an 80,000 square-foot extension of the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences in downtown Raleigh, features the fossilized skeleton of Lucy, a juvenile T. Rex, as well as many other interesting exhibits. Admission is free so stop by and check it out if you’re ever in the area.

By far the scariest costumes I saw at Dragon*Con, these two zombie clowns were 100% in character the whole time I saw them. For just a minute I felt like the zombie apocalypse was actually starting and, of course, it would begin at Dragon*Con of all places. Though I think we might have had a decent chance of surviving considering that there were quite a few zombie-hunters there. :)
